Ken is freaking amazing. We wanted a laid-back, easygoing experience for photos and Ken accommodated all of our needs. He’s also a great guy, so it was a joy to plan and spend our wedding day with him. For the vast majority of the day, one could hardly notice Ken moving about and capturing the event. His style is of the “photo journalist” variety, so we received plenty of beautiful candid photos. And they are really stunning; the guy really knows how to work with lighting and bring out the best in his subjects. We couldn’t have been more pleased, nor think of anything more we could have wanted from a wedding photographer.

I’ve known of Ken’s photography work since we were both students at Ryerson. His documentary work, and the way he applies it to his wedding photography are the reason I knew I wanted to hire him for my own wedding. My wedding was a very intimate and informal event, and I wanted the photography to reflect that, by showing very natural shots. Throughout the day I hardly ever noticed Ken was there. In a good way! He was so unobtrusive and instead of trying to get us to work to his schedule or what he wanted, he adapted to how the day unfolded naturally. He drove the 4 hours up to our wedding and back, spent the whole day shooting our preparations, ceremony and party and gave us the most meaningful images. They capture all the feelings of the day so well in fact that I can’t stop looking at them, eventhough its now 6 months after the fact!
